Day 4: Winter Cove to Ganges, Salt Spring Island

Again mostly to plan. We got fantastic SE wind, maybe 15-25kts, except at Stanley Point, North Pender Island. We ran 6-7 kts most of the way. I still can't get the boat to go wing-and-wing, but very successfully sailed a beam reach with 20-25kts SE with full main and partial genoa. I used the marina's wi-fi from aboard in the afternoon and then from the pub ashore while having a hoppy Porter and pot stickers and Jewels went to tea at Hastings House. Dinner at Hastings House was also very fine. It was still blowing 15-25kts SE into the evening so we were glad to be docked in a marina and having dinner ashore.

The harbor sports a pair of swans and their signets who came a-visiting during the afternoon.
