My
usual self, although duded up in a suit, with the beard that has been on
my face for all but one month in the last 25 years. |

The new me with a largely naked face all decked
out for reason for all this - a roaring 20's costume party. You
can't imagine the amount of hair gel it took to keep my hair this flat. |
Thus
begins the process |

First way-point: sporting a Van Dyke - a beard of
historical value and rarely seen these days. |
Nearly
there. A brief experiment with longer trailing ends to the
mustache. |

Final form with the shorter mustache. |
|

Hopefully, there is more than a passing similarity
between the "new" beard shape and the one worn by Frederick Eugene
Powell, Dean of the American Society of Magicians, 1922 through 1938.
