Change of Face
Home Up

My usual self, although duded up in a suit, with the beard that has been on my face for all but one month in the last 25 years.

The new me with a largely naked face all decked out for reason for all this - a roaring 20's costume party.  You can't imagine the amount of hair gel it took to keep my hair this flat.

Thus begins the process

First way-point: sporting a Van Dyke - a beard of historical value and rarely seen these days.

Nearly there.  A brief experiment with longer trailing ends to the mustache.

Final form with the shorter mustache.

Throw Cards - Frederick Eugene Powell

Hopefully, there is more than a passing similarity between the "new" beard shape and the one worn by Frederick Eugene Powell, Dean of the American Society of Magicians, 1922 through 1938.
